Fellowship Applications
What you’ll gain from the programme:

Please apply if you are:
*Between 18-22 years old.
*Passionate and have lots of infectious energy.
*Possess a demonstrated interest in community building.
*Interested in learning how to develop content and facilitate workshops.
*Committed to adhering to UWC ideals and the Umoja Fellowship Code of Conduct.
*Currently a student at a UWC school and/or a former UWC Short Course participant.
*Available for the pre-Short Course period (May - June) and to facilitate one session of the Short Course (July) as directed by the Fellowship Coordinator at UWC East Africa (Moshi, Tanzania).
Availability:
The Fellowship Programme will run from 3rd July 2022 and will require a commitment of 2-4 hours of training per week prior to the short course. You will need a digital device with internet access for these discussions. In order to successfully complete the program, fellows will be required to work together, using the skills and knowledge acquired to design and facilitate a session at the 2022 UMOJA UWC Short Course.
Costs:
UWCEA will provide free accommodation and meals for the Fellows. While Fellows are expected to cover their own travel, visa, and insurance costs, UWCEA will provide support by covering 50 USD of the expenses related to this.
We strongly encourage you to have complete COVID-19 vaccinations and to self-quarantine before the short course.
