The Umoja Short Course brings together young people from diverse backgrounds for an immersive journey of learning, dialogue, and community building. Over 10 transformative days, participants explore themes such as youth activism, identity, conflict resolution, and environmental change while building meaningful global connections.

Location: UWC East Africa, Moshi Campus
16-19 years of age
Fees: $950 (excluding visa & Flights)-Scholarships are available
Facilitators play a key role in creating engaging learning spaces, leading workshops, and supporting participants as they explore important global themes and build meaningful connections.

The Umoja Short Course Fellowship offers an opportunity to support the planning and delivery of the program while working closely with participants, facilitators, and the organizing team. Fellows help create a supportive environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and community building.

Eligibility Requirements
Be between 18 and 21 years old
Be proficient in English
Be currently enrolled at a UWC School/ a graduate of the one of the UWC School's / an UMOJA Short Course Alumni
