The Short Course will follow the United World College’s model of experiential learning. This type of learning focuses on engaging participants rather than teaching them. The program’s experiential learning will be centered around creative workshops, interactive learning,engagement with nature, service activities and development projects.
The program will be a total of 12 days.
Day 1: Arrival
Day 2-Day 11: Thematic topics and local excursions.
Day 12: Departure
Our Main Featured Theme for UMOJA short course this year is “Leadership”. Along the main theme the participants will explore four thematic topics centered around Community building. These thematic topics of the short course will be explored through workshops run and designed by Facilitators.
